If you’ve been struggling to find a quick synopsis of where each Presidential Candidate stands on the major economic issues facing our nation, then you may want to check out this article on CNNMoney.com. It does a fairly nice job of simplifying each candidates plan &/or stand on over 19 major issues and compares each candidate’s thoughts & ideas to the others in a side-by-side analysis.

This article isn’t a direct correlation to our local real estate market (like most of my usual posts are), yet since it’s one of the most important presidential elections of my lifetime, and likely yours, I thought I’d post a link here. I hope you’ll take the time to read through each issue; overall it took me about 30 minutes to cover all of them. I know you may be pressed for time, but if I can get anything across to you in this article today, it would be to do your own research, develop your own reasoning for deciding how to cast your vote based on the candidate’s outlined strategies and engage in healthy discussions with friends, families and colleagues (if you so desire) about each topic to fully gain the best understanding of both party’s plan for success. Then, most importantly, VOTE!

You may be right that “You’re only 1 vote and 1 vote won’t really make a big difference.” However, if millions of other people have the same thoughts and also decide to take the easy route and just not vote, then we’ll all be affected in the end. Exercise your right and VOTE! Even if you’ve never done it before. Get with someone else who hasn’t voted before and go through it together. You’ll be glad you did.  For what it’s worth, I’m a “First Time Voter” myself with regards to Presidential Campaigns.  But, I can promise you I’ll be there this year to cast my vote.
